We found a dead fox in a bin and kicked the bin to make a tasty tasty kick mmmmm dinner

6 freshly recorded titles - including many sure-fire instant classics - are featured within the twenty minutes and forty two seconds of this record. This is the debut appearance by DEAD FOX! and will become their fastest selling project thus far.
The EP opens with the existential introductory track, I DON’T KNOW HOW TO PAY TAXES, the only recording by the band made in Phoebe’s room. This was due to the fact she was sick and was unable to leave her bed to record in Aaron’s room/the DEAD FOX! studio. The first half of this session featured Aaron recording the looped guitar piece featured throughout the song. The other half consisted of the band hitting various objects found in Phoebe’s room to create the drum beat. These items included (but are not limited to): a wall, vitamin D3 supplements, guitar strings, definitely not a dead body plummeting 90 feet to the ground, Flucloxcillin antibiotics, destroyed audio equipment, a dominos pizza box, the body of an acoustic guitar, three socks, and an Apple Lightning Cable ™️ against a Chillys™️ water bottle.
Two more Dartnell/Wilkinson compositions follow on side A, showcasing the questionable ‘talent’ of these musicians on NEVER DO and 6 HOURS. On the first faster number, Aaron is back at it again trying to record guitar for the majority of the session, but did a pretty good job with coming up with most of the song, declaring how stuffy it was in your room. Open a window. The main riff blasting into your left ear for the duration of 6 HOURS was again written by Aaron, and became the foundations of the song. No other context is permitted.
The opening forty seconds of DEAD FOX is comprised entirely of sounds recorded on an hour and a half stroll through a local park. It was during this stroll that Aaron and Phoebe stumbled upon the perfect kick drum - a dead fox in a bin. This became the soul of the track and the spirit of the band. The fox will live on eternally through us all. The ambient section was recorded in a single take, with Aaron and Phoebe playing synth and guitar simultaneously. The final section of this track lasts so long because the band were vibing too hard. They would like to thank Steps for the inspo.
Transitioning swiftly into the penultimate track, SUITCASE, the innocent lead melody from DEAD FOX morphs into a distorted monster. This energy is matched with vocals drowning in fuzzy saturation and an aggressive, angry and energetic performance from Aaron. He really didn’t like your window being closed. The drums were brought to you courtesy of various guns.
PERFECT LIFE is the delightfully crispy closing track of the EP. Featuring guitar distortion that can and will never be recreated. PERFECT LIFE was predominantly recorded through an analogue mixer patched into itself, hence the exploding, fuzzy, guitar notes. The band would like to personally thank Thom Yorke for his vocal contribution. DEAD FOX describe PERFECT LIFE as ‘a song’.
Hope it doesn’t leave you too breathless to scroll back to the top of your playlist and restart the EP.

Right now you're feeling calm With your head upon my chest And I wake up in the morning And I know what I should've said I know what I should've said I run my fingers down your body And you feel so cold I just want to hold you when you sleep I put my jacket round your body 'Cause you look so cold I just want to hold you when you sleep I know you're missing me And the feeling's so old Just hold on to that photo that you keep Six hours with that body laying underneath my feet I know you hate the distance that we keep And I wake up in the morning And I know what I should've said I know what I should've said What I should've said (Can't do that note) I run my fingers down your body And you feel so cold I just want to hold you when you sleep I put my jacket round your body 'Cause you look so cold I just want to hold you when you sleep I know you're missing me And the feeling's so old Just hold on to that photo that you keep Six hours with that body laying underneath my feet I know you hate the distance that we keep (That's the wrong words I'm gonna start again) (I got the wrong words I'm sorry) (Sorry) (Rip off the Pixies) Of course I wanted to Of course I wanted you (Ooo) Of course I wanted to Of course I wanted you (Ooo) Of course I wanted to Of course I wanted you (Ooo) Of course I wanted to Of course I wanted you (Ooo)
